"Staying in shape over the holidays can be tough, but here are a few things I tell my clients to do to keep them from gaining too much unwanted holiday weight."

TIP #1:

"Get rid of the all or nothing mentality. It's easy to let a couple of treats turn into a full blown week of binging. Enjoy yourself - nobody wants to be around the calorie counter - but enjoy both healthy and indulgent foods. The secret is always moderation."

TIP #3:


"When I’ve gained the most weight, it was largely due to overeating late at night. When everyone’s on the couch watching movies, make yourself a cup of decaf coffee or tea to help curb your cravings. It’s a small thing that I’ve found helps keep me out of the pantry."
